11 Things We Did This Week - May 13th to 17th

We had a beautiful week!

1. We made acrostic Spring poems.

2. We visited third grade classrooms.

3. We started a new Bingo behavior game.

4. We played outside on the 3rd grade playground at recess.

5. Malana lost a tooth this week.

6. We changed seats.

7. The "Girls" table earned the most free time minutes.

8. We created a brain project.

9. At the technology station we played Fishing for Nouns.

10. We made summer and spring scratch art.

11. We created midpoint art.

11 Things We Did This Week - May 6th to May 10th

We had a marvelous week!

1. We made a hand and vase project.

2. We went outside four times on Friday.

3. An author/illustrator came in and read her book to us.

4. We made poems.

5. We played Turtle tag in phy. ed.

6. We made a book.

7. Five people are done with 2nd grade spelling.

8. Mrs. Blatterman came in on Friday.


9. We raised $18.55 for Coins for Critters.

10. In Technology group we played Shoot the Clock.

11. We celebrated Josh's birthday on Friday.

13 Things This Week - April 29th to May 3rd

We had a ball this week!

1. Mrs. Smith's husband came in for Junior Achievement.

2. We each made a Magic School Bus.

3. We created a magic vehicle.

4. We had a snowstorm and no school on Thursday.


5. We raised some money for Coins for Critters.

6. We received some books from Scholastic.

7. We cleaned our bookshelves.

8. We couldn't deliver our plants yet, because of the rain and snow.

9. We had free time on Friday and two tables had over 20 minutes.

10. We played Scrabble in reading groups.

11. We made scales in Music.

12. Justin lost a tooth.

13. In phy. ed. we had a substitute named Mr. Prill.

We had a marvelous week!

1. We planted flowers in pots in our classroom.

2. We went to the movie theater and watched Tangled.

3. Anna won the "Be Green" poster contest.

4. We made skeletons.

5. We created an Earth pledge.

6. We watched an Orca show in Music class.

7. It was "Be Green" week this week.

8. Our spelling bonus words were Mrs. Rubesch and Mrs. Focht.

9. We're learning about the body system in language arts.

10. We went outside for gym.

10 Things We Did This Week - April 15th to 19th

We had a great week!

1. We did mountains and rolling hills tear paper art.

2. We had a substitute teacher on Wednesday.

3. We sang a spring song in Music class.

4. We had a snow day on Friday.

5. It was Justin's birthday.

6. Our Cumberland pen pals wrote back.

7. We had homework.

8. We learned about the digestive system.

9. We finished our "Be Green" posters.

10. We made a giant Mrs. Smith.

10 Things This Week - April 8th - 12th

1. We made giants and described them on paper.

2. We earned some free time. Wolves had 27 minutes, Green Bay had 26 minutes, and Vikings had 1 minute.

3. Pizza was our favorite lunch.

4. We played Mr. Fox in Phy. Ed.

5. Our bonus words were assessment and continent.

6. We had "hat day" on Friday. it was "Caps for Cancer Day." We paid $1.00 to wear a cap.

7. In math we learned to subtract money.

8. We had a Unit 5 All Around the World Folktale test.

9. Ethan's mom came to help us on Friday afternoon.

10. We learned what text features are.

11 Things We Did This Week - April 2nd-5th

We had a muddy week!

1.       We performed our play.

2.       Friday was Amberiel’s last day.

3.       We took some art projects home.

4.       We changed our math wall from blue to red.

5.       We had our Wii reward from March on Thursday.

6.       The Packer table earned 25 minutes of free time, the Flower table earned two minutes of free time, and the Tiger table earned 16 minutes of free time.

7.       We got new Magic Tree House and Babysitter Club books.

8.       In guidance we made bully shields.

9.       We made flowers from our reading buddy artwork.

10.   Students that passed addition and subtraction tests, got to decorate a pineapple.

11.   In phy. ed. we bowled.
